Once every year, around November, the salmon swims up through the streams in British Columbia to spawn. Julia enjoys watching them. Here are her colorful paintings of these beautiful fishes. (I cut it out for her to paste in the collage).
Thanks Din! Julia painted all three of those (I drew and cut them for her). Well, I tried to paint the third one myself but she wouldn't let me. I would have chosen more subtle and bland colors than what she had anyway. Only Julia have gone to see the salmon run (with her daycare group), two years in a row. I, unfortunately, haven't gone there yet as it's far from the bus routes..maybe next year. Wanna come? :)
